Rene Magritte

Rene Magritte was a surrealist painter who became recognized for his accomplishments late in his career. He was extremely influential in gaining recognition for surrealism art. Magritte created a very distinct style. Much of the work created by Rene Magritte, simply rearranges everyday objects figures, and locations, forcing the viewer to take a deeper look at the interesting combinations. These compositions challenged traditional painting and representation encouraging viewers to have different interpretations.

Illustrator Assignment
We are going to create illustrations combining Rene Magritte's surrealist ideas: an apple, a cloudy background, and a man with a bowler hat (but you can choose a silhouette of your choice to personalize your combination).Put them together to create a Magritte-esk Illistration.
